Our Team

Audrey Raley, OD, is a certified, licensed Optometric Glaucoma Specialist and Therapeutic Optometrist in New Braunfels, Texas. She’s a proud native of San Antonio and raised among the serene landscapes of Texas Hill Country. She graduated with Magna Cum Laude Honors from both Texas A&M University in College Station in Biomedical Sciences and the University of Houston College of Optometry for her Doctorate.

When the white coat comes off, Dr. Raley enjoys cycling, traveling, baking, and treasured moments with her husband, Hunter Weedman, and their two lovable miniature dachshunds, Hazel and Riggs.

Dr. Tompkins is a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. She is a native Texan and grew up in the Houston area. She graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She then received her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry. 

During her externship rotations, Dr. Tompkins received extensive training in specialty contact lenses, keratoconus, diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy, as well as co-management care for cataract surgery, INTACS, PRK, and LASIK procedures. She has a medical special focus in scleral lenses and dry eye management. 

Dr. Tompkins also volunteers in the community by conducting vision screenings for pediatrics and providing education on ocular health to our local youth and schools. She is passionate about providing the best eye care possible and is renowned for treating all of her patients like family. Dr. Tompkins feels very blessed to be a part of the Refined Eye Care team and loves living in New Braunfels. When not examining eyes, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, watching sports with her husband and two children, spending time outdoors, or simply enjoying a good coffee.

Our very own Optician, Alyssa, is American Board of Opticianry Certified. This nationally recognized certification requires expertise in optics, ophthalmic lenses, ocular anatomy, and industry regulations/quality standards. Personally, Alyssa enjoys lightweight frames like @ovvooptics and @saltoptics. She hand-selects every frame in our office and purchases only the best products. With a background in designer styling, she has a unique eye for color and craftsmanship in the optical and always makes eyewear styling easy and fun. She also enjoys fitting patients in  @officialmauijim sunglasses and is a specialist in polarized lenses. Her laid-back personality and attention to detail always make the patient experience comfortable, effortless, and precise. In her day-to-day life, she enjoys her four dogs, riding her dirt bike with her boyfriend, Jefry, or heading down for a beach weekend with her loved ones!

With a warm and peaceful presence, Macy excels at helping our patients feel comfortable and at ease. She is trained in high technology ocular instrumentation and ophthalmic examination techniques. She is also trained in astigmatism, multifocal, and myopia treatment contact lenses. While at the office, her positive attitude always provides the smoothest patient journey possible! Patients also enjoy taking note of her obsession with fashionable and fun sneakers! In her free time, Macy enjoys working out, appreciating music of all genres, and chilling out with friends and family.
